Matchworks

As part of the regeneration of the Speke/Garston area in the late 1990s, Urban Splash sensitively transformed the art deco former match factory into office space and commercial units. The Byrant and May factory closed in 1994, lying dormant until Urban Splash rescued the iconic structure on Liverpool's southern approach, reopening it in 2001.
